Danny has been exploring the potential of painting as an expressive medium for over fifteen years, both personally and professionally. As a painter, he specializes in finely detailed interiors with crisp lines and pristine surfaces; his artwork shares a sense of precision and smooth, confident application of paint. Heavily influenced by the culture of comic-book illustration and pop art, he began to draw his own strips while studying Graphic Design in high school. After graduating to University, his artistic vision translated into large-scale, vividly colored pieces of graffiti art. Today, he is capable of bringing a client’s ambition from abstract concept to concrete reality, incorporating their personality and taste into a unique aesthetic that combines abstract text and realistic rendering. Danny took up the trade of professional interior painting while attending UMass Boston, where he was transfixed by the mural art of greater Boston as he rode the MBTA trains from his hometown of Gloucester to the JFK/UMass stop on the Red line.
